Centre Update – Friday 9 January 2026 The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued a FLASH Tropical Cyclone Advice for the Northeast Queensland region. Our Centre is open and operating as normal , and we’re actively monitoring the situation. Should local authorities advise any changes, we’ll update this page straight away.
